April News and Exciting Updates

Dia dhuit! (Hello-in Gaelic)

As the winter darkness fades away, we all start to dream of warmer weather, gardens and the bounty they bring. March is one of my favorite months because it brings me hope to pull out the seeds and start organizing my gardens for the new season. This season I am prepping to sell vegetables, perennials, medicinal and culinary herb starts once again.
Our plants will be organically grown and sold in 4-inch pots ready to transplant. They will all be listed for pick up only on our website in May. Each start will be $7 a pot! You can order online and pick up at the farm (2185 Lynds Hill Road, Plymouth VT) or at either the Woodstock Farmers Market on the Green (Wednesdays 3-6), Ludlow Farmers Market (Fridays 4-7), Rutland Farmers Market (Saturdays 10-2) or at the Plymouth Farmers Market (Sundays 3-6) beginning end of May onward. We will send out a newsletter to alert everyone when they are ready to purchase! If you haven’t already done so, consider signing up for our newsletter to stay up to date on all things happening here on the farm! At the bottom of this post you'll find the list of what will be available for purchase!

Another new venture I’m excited to share is the beginning of my plant consultation business. I will be sharing my knowledge on all things plant related with you all! This is available for all my local and non-local friends. For a small fee, I can help you plan your gardens, increase your yields, prevent and treat pest problems as well as help you make the best planting decision depending on your soil and land. It will be available via Facetime, Zoom, Phone Call or In Person. Feel free to email me at contact@fiddlersgreenfarmvt.com or call/text (802) 345-4526 or more information or booking 😊
I also wanted to add that for the next month, there will be a sale on canned goods and my best selling 14 Mushroom Hot Cocoa! Just because it is getting warmer doesn’t mean we have to stop drinking hot cocoa!! The canned goods and hot cocoa will be 10% off their original price. Grab them while you can, limited quantities available until the fall!

Happy Spring! Sláinte!
